Joe Swanberg (b. 1981) earned his degree in film production from Southern Illinois University, where he developed an interest in emerging video technology and a crippling addiction to the Internet. His first feature, KISSING ON THE MOUTH (2005) is available on DVD through Heretic Films, and his second feature, LOL (2006), is enjoying a festival/theatrical run after premiering at the SXSW Film Festival.
